and that goalkeeper we never saw from the Charlton record books until the Danes overturn their stupid ban on Marmite
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1390419/Marmite-banned-Denmark-contains-vitamins.html

You may love Dennis or hate him, you may love Claus, you may not care less about the goalkeeper we never saw BUT this is Marmite we are talking about here!

"Some people believe Marmite is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." the great Bill Shankley

Is the gk Andresen? Always liked him, even if he was a tad error prone. Should have persevered with him!!

But in regards to your topic, I just had marmite on toast in protest to this ban.

I was going to say that Marmite need to be the shirt sponsors of a team in the Europa League, just to annoy the Danes, but I can only think of one team who would want the reputation of you only love us or hate us and they aren't going to be in the Europa League and I doubt that Marmite's owners would give them the time of day.

    Who should Marmite sponsor??

I can recommend the deluxe Marmite- a bit more expensive but worth it.

I find it quite astonishing that the Danes happily slaughter dolphins and seals in their thousands for food with great brutality, but ban Marmite - what's wrong with this picture?

Bad day also for Ovaltine, 15 types of breakfast cereal and Sunny Delight - mind you, that should have a Worldwide ban...

Err, ain't that the Norwegians? I think the Danes are into preserving Little Mermaids and I am all for that.

The Danes do it as well unfortunately - primarily in the Faeroe Islands - pretty disgusting it is, too.

You think of Brighton AH, well I live there and I can tell you I have **** loads of Marmite... but no bread

I assume you weren't insinuating something else, no Marmite munchers here. Very traditional town.

I post this completely without comment -

    http://newsthump.com/2011/05/25/massive-marmite-shipment-seized-off-the-coast-of-denmark/

And while I'm in a particularly good mood, here's another one from the same site - nothing to do with football, but a good laugh and a damned good excuse for another look at that fine rear view of Ms. Middleton. If that woman doesn't get the "Rear of the Year" award, then it's a fix...
