Well we are clearly third favourites now.I think the Cardiff result has shaken things up a bit more because being on 29 with a better GD than Fulham it is almost as likely that they might be the ones to make the cut.I still feel it's two from six from Villa down to Cardiff. As Ince said on MOTD strange things happen at this end of the season and although we are written off for the last four games it's never that straightforward as the SaintsvCardiff game proves.

More controversially maybe, and this isn't a dig at Adams,I think Hughton may have been better placed to have got a point yesterday.

Your away games are write-offs and your home games are against top teams who are still chasing the title/top 4.

At best you might draw two which wont be enough.

Your caretaker manager, as nice as Im sure he is, just looks and talks like a born loser I'm afraid. You should have kept Hughton as I dont think he would have lost that game yesterday.

Well that was my argument.I don't think Hughton would have gone for it like Adams did.it's two edged because if the VanW or Snodgrass shots had gone in we would have maybe won it.overall though a 0-0 bore draw like at Palace keeping Fulham 5 points adrift would have been the more sensible option.

Well, we can never know what would have happened with Hughton. I could just as easily counter your argument by saying 'What if it was like Wigan away towards the end of last season when we played for 0-0, conceded fairly late in the game, and had no time to come back?'

Very true - how many times did Hughton set up for a 0-0 draw, only to see a defensive mistake gift the oppo a goal (cheers, Bass <ok>) and have no strategy to get us back into the match. At least we showed some appetite to try and win yesterday, even if we lacked the guile/craft/(luck?) to break them down.

What's it to do with you? Good job there's no points for artistic merit in football because your lot would be ten points adrift at the foot of the table.

    I dont know lets see....

You haven't taken a single point away against any of the top 9 this season so it seems reasonable to call away games against man utd and chelsea write-offs.

Can you really see much from the games against title chasing liverpool and top 4 chasing arsenal? 2 points would be an outstanding achievement.

Would Hughton have done better at Fulham yesterday? Well he has ground out some decent away results against fellow strugglers this season - stoke, wba, sunderland, palace etc.

He would have approached the game more defensively yesterday and got the draw IMO which would have perhaps crucially kept fulham 5 points behind yourselves.

So there we go. Seems I do know know a bit about Norwich afterall.

We'll thank you for coming over with your superior knowledge of NCFC under Hughton. NOT !
So if you know the results for the rest if the season we might as well let the lads have a few extra weeks holiday?
We are so grateful for you taking the time to talk bollox.

As much as it pains me to say it, I can't really see any honest argument against what you've said.

The relegation fight is pretty much shaping up as predicted, with that 18th spot still remaining at around -4 in terms of the relationship between games/points.The problem being of course that most people have grave doubts that we can get two points and most people think, for some reason, that Fulham are capable of getting more than four. The fact is that barring some pretty massive scores two points for us and four for them,(or 3 and 5) will see them relegated.

18th place now -5 and all eyes on Sunderland v Cardiff today. This is a game with the potential to change the season for all the relegation threatened teams.A draw would leave it

    Villa 35
    Norwich 32
    Cardiff 31
    Fulham 31
    Sunderland 30

Clearly the best outcome for us....And a Sunderland win

    Villa 35
    Sunderland 32
    Norwich 32
    Fulham 31
Cardiff 30 ......And an away win...

    Villa 35
    Cardiff 33
    Norwich 32
    Fulham 31
    Sunderand 29

    Hang on to your hats!!
