    Good luck with that <ok>

Poyet would also be off in a shot if anyone approached him.

Being a bit of a pedant, how are the things you list indicative of 'relegation form'? They may well be factors which suggest we face a relegation battle but that is different.

Oh, and Buckley was not one of our best players.

Gotta laugh, really, these Billy Big Balls tw'ts from Brighton coming on here and ginving it loads. They've signed Will Hoskins (Will Headless Chicken Hoskins !!!!!) and broken their transfer record on a player who struggled to make the bench. I would suggest that they should be looking down rather than up. Wonder if Will is tearing around in his BMW on the south coast?

I seem to remember the Posh fans giving it large when they came up the first time.
Lets hope the Brighton fans dont have to gorge themselves on large quantities of humble pie as the Posh fans did.

We got a new manager and sold some key players in 2005..and look what happened.

We do better when in a crisis anyway!

We do seem to like being the underdogs. Lets hope we get someone in who cares about the club and wants to be with us for a long time!!

whoever comes in will know exactly what the situation is, they'll relish the challenge too and want us to succeed..otherwise..why bother taking the job?

i'm sure the cardiff job is a stepping stone...it's not a very sensible move long term i wouldn't have thought!

it is a very high risk stepping stone, if he gets a black mark now he is very unlikely to get another job fast! He did nothing amazing with us and will have failed with money and quality, so what else is there to offer him?

seems perhaps he believed the hype. He did great with us...but his win ratio is not good at all, i can't imagine Cardiff were impressed by that...so they were impressed with his words rather than deeds..that's a huge risk to take on a new boy..

it is a risk, especially when there were better managers in the frame. But good riddence to him and lets get Chris Hughton in and get some wins under our belts
