Buckle's approach to management is like a breath of fresh air.

Weakness v Torquay at RB...so change it...in comes Bolger with Anthony at RB

Any team hoping for promotion needs to win its home games...so play McGleish, Harrold AND Kuffour.

    Living definition of pro-active!

It is fantastic to watch this season isn't it? I mean, it is probably not as good as we are all making out, but after 5 years of boring tactics and defensive football, it aint half nice to watch us attack teams and look to score goals even after being ahead in the game. I also love the fact that this team do not give up, yesterday’s game against Northampton would have fizzled out into a draw in previous season which in itself wouldn’t have been a bad result, but this team just keep going and going. It’s brilliant to watch us defend from the front and look to get the ball from teams before they can settle with it and immediately counter attack.

Its gonna be a fun season I should think with plenty of goals at either end and a thrill to watch!

So far, im a very happy gashead <ok>

Totally agree with both comments. Recent managers when games were not going our way, such as Trolls were like rabits caught mesmerised in the car headlights. Buckles attitude is to try to fix the problem straight away. Decisive and a man with a plan.

When did we last see forwards chasing down 'keepers and harrying defenders ? Remember Duffy !!!
I also think he's had a word about dissent. We're tackling hard, and Anthony still does his kamikazi
challenges, but there's very little hassling of the referee.

Absolutely agree gents, great attacking football allied to a steely determination. Chance after chance created and as Buckle said today, one day soon we are going to absolutely tonk someone.

actually plenty of complaints. he was crap as well. was better than saturdays ref but still crap.

this was his rules. they pull our shirts off our backs and they win a free kick for their troubles! <doh>

however, as i stated about saturdays game, we didnt lose cuz of the ref. we cocked up and made 2 defensive mistakes costing us 2 goals. if we cut out those mistakes we would of won. yes the ref was shocking but we didnt concede 2 goals cuz of him. it was our own doing. but it would of helped if he just gave us 1 decision.

last nights ref was very bad but was very consistant at being bad for both teams. i saw some decisions which was very strange for both sides.
