John Greig is a Rangers FC legend, played nearly 500 games for his only club and managed them as well, he was voted their greatest ever player.....so in many ways the award that Clint won is of greater signifigance than the Player of the Year award as he was chosen to receive it by Greig personally..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Greig
I vaguely recall he indicated that he wanted to continue playing but that we couldn't offer him the guarantee of regular first team football, hence his move North of the border. Would love him to return and take up a role within the club at some point in the future when his playing days are over.
