Whispers abound that Dummy may be sold this summer. One particular valuation got me chuckling.... http://www.shoot.co.uk/stoke-city-considering-summer-move-for-newcastle-defender-paul-dummett/ He's valued at just under £3m apparently..... I'd personally value him at £5-10m at todays prices as he is versatile and also has quite a bit of PL experience. I'd like to see him stay. He's better than Haidara.
Go and buy a better LB by all means but we'd be stupid to sell him. If he were to go then I'm confident it would be to another Premier League club. Transfermarkt says he only has one year left on his contract so maybe £4m. If I had to put money on it I'd say he'll end up getting a new contract - could be why there are rumours of moves going on while they haggle over the deal.
By all means go get a better quality LB, but surely Dummy is well worth keeping as a solid back up. Not sure l would let him go, especially for 3 million.
Absolutely right, which is why we need better, but we also need back up players to cover injuries and suspensions, he is fine for that purpose, and as l said, if we can only realise 3 million for him, we may as well keep him.
ha ha i think they have to be able to play a bit as well m8 .. instead of the dummet hoof back to the other team all the time lol
We will need two left backs if we sell him. Haidara needs to go and I'm assuming lazaar is not wanted.
No he is not fit to lace Dummy's boots. Given Dummy is of questionable quality, the best thing to do with Haidara is to burn him out the back of the training ground during winter to keep everyone warm while they train.
