You must be really ****ing insecure to keep coming back on here just to tell us how **** you think it is, then flouncing out again.

What is it that he wants us all to do, exactly? Stop posting on here? Stop watching Premier League football? Professional football?

To be fair, he could teach the boycotters a thing or two about boycotts.

Principled to a fault: started solemnly boycotting the club as soon as we gained our second promotion to the Premier League and even now stubbornly boycotts most games that his season pass doesn't get him in to.

Nowt wrong with that, but sneering at anyone who doesn't do the same marks him out as some kind of ubercunt.

I watched the whole of the 1970 World Cup 'classic' between Brazil and England a few years ago, hoping to remind myself of how much better the football was in that so-called 'Golden Age'.

I was bored ****less after 20 minutes. Yes, there were moments of magic, but it was played at a snail's pace and players were under virtually no pressure when they got the ball. There was just no intensity, and I found that very frustrating.

Oh I'm not comparing players from different eras, cos that's impossible. I just mean in terms of how the game looks, and for me, the speed and intensity of the modern game makes it better.
