****, Rag and Bone Man I'd love to have seen, almost makes me wish that we weren't setting off for Indianapolis today
Weather won't matter pal, it'll be the first time that we've seen our youngest son since he married a lovely American girl just over a year ago, as long as we have him, his American family and a good few restaurants all will be good
Seeing Indianapolis just reminded me of one of my favourite songs. Any song which can get Indianapolis and Minneapolis into the lyrics deserves respect. Have a great time which of course you will.Everyone I know who has spent time there living or working amongst Americans remarks on their friendliness and hospitality, especially away from the big cities. Unlike the negative remarks from anti US types who have never been there.
I think they only do the news programs for 24 hours after they are broadcast. There was apparently a documentary about Mick on I think it was SKY arts, which was due to be on 9pm last Friday night. Basically the documentary maker was very complementary about his influence on Bowie, and many people didn't realise that he was instrumental in Bowie success, and Bowie never forgot that.
Have a great time. You will love it. As Castro says the yanks are on the whole great people and proud of where they're from
If you are going to be in a hotel and want to see it, if you have an Android phone or tablet download Modbro. It is on there if you scroll down channels. It is under Sky Arts 2.
Unfortunately we're all Apple but I'm sure there'll be a clip of it that I can get to see at some point Just got weighed by the way, before all of those American mixed grills , I'm a very untoned 15 stones 7 pounds, I'll put my weight up again when we return Edit:- tekking some Yorkshire teabags
