Just thought I'd mention that the Race Of Champions is currently showing on the Sky F1 channel, just in case you weren't aware. A little surprised that the crowd looks quite sparse.
I think attendances have not been great in quite a few recent ones. Location seems to be the key, so London you would have expected a decent crowd. Some have had some odd venues so the crowds have been small.
Well I was thinking of going, but due to the fact that I have an evening job in a function band means I've got to leave this time of year open for Christmas parties etc. I would have put it on in January then you'd have people getting tickets as Christmas presents. Plus, most of the racing series have finished by that point. People would go to sate their appetite in the off season.
Watched the nations cup last night, was reasonably enjoyable. Thought about going in person, but the ticket price put me off. Looks like it put off an awful lot of people based on attendance.
Been watching some of the coverage on Eurosport. Doesn't look like a great track, too slow and slippery. Seen better setups.
It was pretty enjoyable. Vettel seemed switched on all night, Kristensen put up a strong performance also. Even though it was freezing, I think the crowd capacity was around 27k. Nice to see Massa, Hulk, Ricciardo and Grosjean, Button live. Coulthard was a good laugh and Crofty wasn't annoying for once. Wehrlein turned up with the F1w04, the v8 sound was deafening but brilliant. His ROC performance was not so as he dumped his Euro Nascar into the barrier. An amazing night that I'll never forget.
