    Just spotted this thread...I love a lot of the punk/new wave bands and follow some of the local bands now such as 1977, Rabble Rousers and Toxic.. I have a few CD,s from bands from that era that I play in the car as well.

    Butchers Arms half five on Sunday..I'm sure this is the bloke who used to be in the local punk band The showbiz kids from the late 1970's early 80's.. Will be interesting to see how his music has evolved..

    I see that the Angelic Upstarts are performing at Independent in Sunderland on the 14th April with 1977 as one of the support bands..Only £10 a ticket as well.. I will have to stick a nights holiday in for this..

    I used to sometimes have a beer with them in the Gluepot bar.
    The singer was a big tall lad.
