The newspapers are allready losing influence- the rise of social media, blogging, mobile phone cameras etc etc are making it harder to hide the truth- i mean in 1982 could a some peope from Iceland,noway, wine land(france) wiltshire, hertfordshire, aberdeen and all the rest converst like this?
Yeah by old style phone! although we probably wouldnt have known about the existence of our far flung friends! Home comps were in the embryonic stage Zx 81`s acorn atoms and the like! Papers still have a part too play with there own websites ,blogs etc and still have enough power to influence the masses!
