What he scored all 4 goals did he? With his hand? Get a grip clown, Forest were piss poor, 10 men or 11 they would have been beaten.

I don't think we'll get promoted. Whichever team has all the momentum going into the playoffs will probably take it like Blackpool did last season. Looks like that might be Reading. Them aside, Norwich, Swansea and Cardiff are all very tough asks in a two-leg semi, let alone a final at Wembley.

Yesterdays game was completely changed because Simon Grayson ignored the respect campaign.

The Forest bloke came in with a fair tackle, won the ball and caught the payer after.

    It was firm yet fair.

Grayson legged it onto the pitch and might aswell of took the card out of the refs pocket for him.

Forest looked alright before the incident but it changed the game and to be fair to Leeds they we're ruthless.

BUT, Grayson was out of order.

Excessive force, look it up in FIFA's rules. Could have ended up in a horrific leg break and if I were any manager watching that kind of reckless challenge on one of my players, I'd have reacted in the same way Grayson did.

A manager shouldn't leave his technical area. Look it up in Fifas rules.

If I was the manager of Forest and the lad didnt go for the ball then I would have been furious.

He got the ball and your lad just cried for a bit. Your manager abused the ref and got his gift.

It was a fair tackle and he won the ball.

We're Leeds United. We do as we like and yesterday we got our way. What are fans and bench reactions there for at the end of the day? To influence decisions and get the team in as good a position as possible. I'm proud that we achieved that yesterday and I maintain that Cohen's tackle was dangerous and constituted excessive force. Premiership referee Mark Halsey clearly thought the same and the appeal from Forest will be roundly rejected. Cohen can rot in hell if he thinks that challenge didn't pose a serious risk to McCartney's health.

    <doh>

Maybe we should introduce a new rule where we are not alond to touch each other.

The game is a contact sport and that was a fair tackle.

Cohen should be proud that he gave his all and Grayson should be ashamed of himself.

For the third time, go read the rules. Getting boring now, you can say it's a fair tackle all you like, FIFA think differently and that's the code every ref has to enforce.

The one about being dangerous to the opponent, that being excessive force, and excessive force instantly warranting a red card. The tackle was dangerous, it would have been a leg-breaker.

    How was it dangerous?

    Its just a firm tackle.

Eyes on the ball at all times.

It was dangerous because if he'd made contact with McCartney higher, he would have broken his leg. :)

The referee has stated excessive force. Read it on some forest forum article about their appeal. End of debate, excessive force.

Thats the dumbest comment I have read in a while.

You could say that to any tackle.

I can't believe it was a red. He won the ball, didnt get the player. McCartney only fell over his trailing leg.
