Promotion or relegation?

I don't understand. Why does Nunez get mentioned. Hes hardly played an hours football for us and everyone seems to think he's a world beater. Sam or watt didn't contribute a whole lot either. Think there are a few on here wearing rose tinted glasses

 

I said I might include those three in the category of players who are better than your average Championship plodder, nothing about world-beating. From what Nunez showed at Scunthorpe, Watt showed in his 22 appearances and Sam showed in his 18, I think it's fair enough to say they're at or better than average Championship standard. And yes, I think they could have filled in for Snodgrass and Gradel based on what I know of their ability. They obviously wouldn't have done as well, but I still maintain they'd have filled in capably.

I take it that your opinion is that those three are inferior to your standard Championship player?

 

It means I'm not getting into a discussion where I make sensible points and other people say ridiculous things.

That quote is slightly worrying. Don't believe he really thinks that though or he'd have acted accordingly and given Paynter far more game time than he did. Actions speak louder and all that. And sorry for not believing you m8, but the cynic in me always likes to see the evidence.

He gave Paynter far more game time than he should have, and more than Somma and McCormack.
