My honest opinion is I would get what you can for him and move on to the next and hope we get that one right. I know people are not sure about Bony, but I would take a punt especially if we could get him on a loan deal. If we could keep Llorente and add Bony I would be more confident in getting the goals we need next season to keep us in the league.
"Meanwhile, eight players will leave the club when their contracts expire. Goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel, who played a pivotal role in the club’s League Cup success in 2013, exits the Liberty after spending six years at the Swans. Marvin Emnes also departs the club, with the Dutch forward seeing his third spell at the club come to an end. The 28-year-old had spent two loan stints with the Swans before joining permanently from Middlesbrough in July 2014. Emnes scored four goals in 37 appearances during a loan spell with Blackburn this season, which ended in relegation from the Championship for the Ewood Park club. Liam Shephard, Josh Vickers, Owain Jones, Tom Dyson and Tom Holland will also leave the club, while Alex Samuel has agreed to join Stevenage. Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank the players mentioned above for their service to the club and wish them well in the future." In 2014, Emnes ended a six-year stay at Middlesbrough to pen a deal at the Liberty Stadium but he never established himself in the starting lineup in south Wales. The Dutchman made a total of 24 appearances during his time at the club, although he only made four starts in the Premier League. Goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel will also leave the club after 52 appearances in seven years, but he has not featured in the first team since 2015. Liam Shephard, Josh Vickers, Owain Jones, Tom Dyson and Tom Holland also leave the club, with Alex Samuel already signing a contract to play for Stevenage.
Jenkins agrees to sell Gylfi to Everton for £25m but Gylfi wants £120k a week in wages.......He is not worth that sort of wage the greedy Twat.....nobody is in my view....
It better not be for only £25m? That's ****ing peanuts for a player of Gylfis quality. Don't see it happening tbh. Clement has spoken about improving, that's impossible without Gylfi.
Club's continue to guzzle vast sums of money at the tits of those Company's who are happy to pay it, then why shouldn't players do the same ?
If players and clubs was not so greedy the fans could easily watch a top match for £10 and kids and old age/disabled for £5.......Football is not worth the money anymore......Pay a nurse £100k a week and not these players that kick a bag of wind for that....It makes more sense....
The fans' are also greedy, in as much as they want/expect the very best players who cost the most money. Even posters on this forum complain that The Swans' owners don't spend enough on transfers. Where will it all end ?
