Looks like we will be looking for a new winger, I believe we need 2, this is an area we have failed to find anyone to fill since promotion to the PL. As I said after 6 years the best 2 are the ones we got promoted with. Need to improve on that now. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/.../swansea-city-winger-linked-transfer-13245721
I think this is absolutely hilarious, how dare he want to play for Swansea City, instead of Newcastle. Shut the **** up you pathetic fat ****.
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/with-kante-one-best-defensive-13247750 Seems people think we have a possible cracker here. If he is just wish we had kept it quiet till he had signed. Now I have got a little excited, probably be outbid.
We wont know how good any new player will be until they have had a few games under their belt playing for us but for now we can only go by the video's......Most teams have hit and misses because some players look good but may not be suited....I like the two so far looking at them but i also liked Baston and Gomis when we signed them so you can never tell.....More defenders please and another keeper wanted.....
Roque Mesa His FIFA 17 overall ratings is 79 http://www.fifplay.com/fifa-17/players/204277/roque-mesa/ Never played FIFA so does this mean he's any good? I agree with Dai, we need defenders more than anything. Maybe another CB to take over, or at least cover Fernadez. Not sure about VDH or Bartley simply because I've just not seen enough of them in a Swans shirt. They may turn out to be fine, in PC we trust in this case. We absolutely need another RB though, at least one, up running and ready to go like Olsson was. Naughton's hamstring injury means he is now prone to injury as a hamstring never heels 100%. It can go at any time once injured but the problem is that each period of recovery lasts longer than the one before and Rangel, bless him, just cant run like he used to. He's OK as a substitute and the occasional game here but for long term cover. He may have to play consecutive games for six weeks minimum while Naughton recovers and who covers Rangel. Maybe PC will dip into young guns because we can't rely on Fer at RB. Nothing against Fer, but he's not a RB as we saw last season. We are more desperate for a RB now than we were last summer and not having sufficient cover at RB this year would be a crime.
Fifa ratings dont mean much at all......A player may be brilliant at one club but rubbish at another......God we have had our share of those over the years
Still heavily linked with the Barnsley RB Andy Yiadom. http://www.90min.com/posts/5190369-...n-barnsley-s-andy-yiadom-but-on-one-condition I will ask my boy about the Fifa thing, no idea myself.
It's on the BBC website now, so must be a deal, just waiting for the announcement to go live!..........
I hope you are right Phil, this does look like a good one. Hope he was over here last week in the sun, not when it is going to piss down for the next few days.
We need to replace Leon now and should have 2 years ago , Bartley has played the most he has since signings for us last season at Leeds so hopefully he'll be ok as squad player . RB position yes again that should have been sorted out 2 years ago
I can't get excited about Mesa. I know very little of him to know whether he's any better than what we already have. Every season, some on this forum get overexcited about some of our signings and have them in our starting 11 before they've even seen him kick a ball. Tabanou is a classic case of this and look how that's turned out. If we sign him, then I hope he turns out to be amazing of course, but until I've seen him play a few games I'll reserve judgement. Narsingh is also in this category - some waxed lyrical about him but to me he's been very average.
whats the go with McBurnie, is he any good??????? Bristol City will be looking for a loan player after losing Abraham
So far Mcburnie has shown an eye for goal wherever he has played for a period. With Abraham only with us for one season the ideal scenario would be to do what Chelsea have done with him. Loan Mcburnie out for a season to a championship side with game time and hope he develops further to replace Abraham for next season.
