Reading that Everton have had a 30m bid for Gylfi turned down. Too bloody right he's worth at least 40m +.

 

It is reported we have put a price tag of 60m on him to deter attention.

Well it looks like the yanks don't want to be walked over, unlike Huw. If he was still in full charge then the 30m bid would have been accepted.

 

More likely that the Yanks have spotted an opportunity to largely recoup in one transaction what they paid for the Club/Company.....

 

There is always that risk for our best players at the minute, but after last season we need a settled team with a few players coming in to strengthen, it would be suicide to part with our best players at the minute...........

 

Gylfi being valued at £60m is spot on. That's exactly what he's worth to us. And before Dai laughs at the valuation, remember, Utd signed Pogba for £90m and I wouldn't have him in our side instead of Gylfi.

 

Well.....bet on 11/2 top 10 finish and bet on 40/1 top 6 finish.

 

All talk and no action....Gylfi is worth £100m to a club like us short on quality but to other clubs Then he is not worth it.....He has been a failure at bigger clubs before and that will be taken into account by clubs.... He has a bit of quality in him but thats not hard when you consider the players around him but put him with a team full of quality then he looks less than average. If a club comes in and will up his wages he will want to go and that's a fact and should it end up in a tribunal then we will be lucky to get £20m for him.....If anyone is willing to pay £30m for him now then we should look at it seriously as that is a fantastic deal....All talk and speculation by us means jack **** as we do it every season and i want to see players of quality coming in to replace the one game wonders we have that are keeping us at the wrong end of the premiership.. Our defense is shocking and needs replacing and we also need a keeper that can challenge Fab and tell him he must do better than he have been doing...

 

Glyfi is having a hell of a summer knees up, fair play to the boy, parties, Tropical islands, weddings etc, etc., bit like me............

There is no question that i want Gylfi to say he wants to stay whatever the offer is as he is the most important player we have and we should be planning the squad of players around him. I would make him captain and give him a pay rise. But my point is Jenkins,,,I dont trust the man and dont believe a word he says and if he was taken out of the equation then i would be more confidant that we wont sell him.....Lets be honest here If it was not for Two players we would have been relegated and that is why i say Gylfi is worth £100m to us but other clubs will have their own valuation and can put him on a wage he says he wants and i fear that if we dont look after him in that department and a tidy offer of £30m comes in then not only will Gylfi be interested but Huw would be as well and the other side of the coin is we could buy 3 quality players for £10m each.....It is a tricky one for everyone concerned what is the best option for the club.....I would not like to be the ones that has to make it....
