Euro football is always mentioned, clubs seem to strive to get there, then once there put out half their side - Spurs a classic example
Are you serious? You wouldn't care if our best player goes? And how is he a journey man- I don't see how you have come to that conclusion. Not attacking just curious?
From the little I've seen of Williams since his departure, he has regressed. And what's with the new hair do ? Mawson will turn out to be a very shrewd purchase, lf he hasn't already.
I agree and certainly think we sold him at the right time, would have been interesting though to have seen him alongside Mawson.
Mawson is the future and is not as good as Ash on his worse day at the moment but if he works hard he could get there...Unfortunately for us once Huw see's a good profit in him he will sell.....Huw is the enemy within and cant be trusted and should go....
If this is right then we for me have got it wrong, why would we let our main striker go out permanently and take a very good youngster on loan as hie replacement, with no PL experience, hope it is just talk, but it is a worry. https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation...helsea-swansea-newcastle-wheels-within-wheels
I think we will struggle again this season if we dont bring in three quality defenders and two strikers that will be good enough......Gylfi and Llorente will go i feel as better clubs with better deals are waiting for them and Gylfi will wait until the best payday he can get....The players will be back in training soon with the exception of Mawson and any other international player who will get an extension as the usual practice.....There has been plenty of rumours but that happens every season so i hope we bid enough to get them this time...
I am not convinced by him and would allow him to go if that is what he wants. He is a good shot stopper, but simply doesn't command his box, just look at the goal and his positioning against WBA. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...stoffer-nordfeldt-speaks-out-swansea-13233593 Cant see this being true. why would we pay 13m for a LB who isn't as good as the one we already have. Non starter for me surely. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...Napoli-Southampton-Jurgen-Klopp-Transfer-News
Fabiaski was not brilliant last season like he was in our first season. He let in some silly goals himself last season and i hope he improves for this season.....
That why I think it is a non story and we already have a better LB in Olsson and cover in Kingsley. Cant see us paying 13m for cover.
honestly you won't regret it . seriously if he had a brain he would be pretty good but we've seen no evidence of one so why it would suddenly appear i don't know. Perhaps he would be better if he played in a team that reined in his going forward tendencies which we have encouraged.
I can see why we would guarantee him first team football, Llorente is not going to play every game, or even start every game this season, so we could easily guarantee him a fixed number of games, as a place to start, and depending on how good a goal machine he turns out to be, then it would be his to lose. If Baston had turned out to be as good as his pedigree, then Llorente would not have got so much game time last season. It's a big step up for the youngster, but I do hope we sign Abraham, looks a good one.........
