    We currently have the second youngest squad in terms of average age of the Premier League squads (based on stats from Transfermarkt) - reflective the "Ashley Policy" I guess

    Good or bad thing - Discuss!

    28.6 - West Brom

    28.1 - Watford

    28.1 - West Ham

    27.7 - Burnley

    27.6 - Leicester City

    27.4 - Brighton

    27.4 - Stoke City

    27.3 - Swansea City

    27.1 - Crystal Palace

    27.0 - Arsenal

    26.9 - Everton

    26.5 - Manchester City

    26.5 - Bournemouth

    26.2 - Huddersfield

    26.3 - Chelsea

    26.2 - Southampton

    25.9 - Manchester United

    25.8 - Tottenham

    25.7 - Newcastle United

    Considering the youngest 6 squads include Liverpool. Spuds, Man Utd and Chelsea I would say it is a good thing.

    But if you want to be a bit more pessimistic the eight oldest teams from last season were the ones who finished in the bottom half but avoided relegation. If, as most people expect, we are going to be in a relegation fight, then we should get more experienced players.
    Having said that though, Sunderland must have had an average age of about 42 for the latter part of last season and it didn't do them a lot of good.

    Think this was my view on it too - could do with a couple of more experienced heads in there to help out when/if we're up against it

    Yep, aslong as you have experience in quality and not quantity it's fine, could probably do with another
    Experienced striker and GK necessary before the window closes which, to be fair, seems to be mostly what they're looking at
