Just on the basis that we're at home i can see us pinching this 2-1, id like to think Ash will be stopping taarabt from playing one way or another, i'd like to see us start with:

    Guzan
    Roseinor Gerrard Chester Dawson
    Belaid Ash Koren Stewart
    Mclean Fryatt

Seems about right. 1-1 for me as our ability to kill teams off comes to mind.

id bring evans in for mclean and push stewart up front, cant see him dropping harper tho unfortunately...i think wel try and keep it in the corner for 90 minutes, and try and draw 0-0...im in a grumpy mood today tho!

    Guzan
    Roseinor Gerrard Chester Dawson
    Ash, Koren, Harper
    Mclean Fryatt, Stewart

It is clear for me that Stewart's best games have being upfront and that Koren is most effective in the middle, i know this seems very risky and not very Nigel esque, but in that sense Mclean and Stewart could drop onto the wings if necessary. Thats my team though not the one i expect Nigel to use.

I predict a nice 1-0 or 2-1, however if my predictions where true we would end up top of the table winning every single game.

Evans in for Stewart in starting line up. Second half subs...Belaid for Evans, Stewart for McLean, Barmby 3rd sub if needed. Think QPR will edge us 2-1...too much class...and Taarabt.

    Guzan
    Roseinor Gerrard Chester Dawson
    Ash Harper Evans
    Koren
    Simpson Fryatt

Reckon we'll see simpson getting an outing after his comments about QPR, and with their attacking threat playing ash harper and evans seems about right with koren and evans interchanging. id like to see simpson get an outing with fryatt, both good players, especially with koren and evans supporting them
With a strong defensive midfield it will allow for rosenoir and dawson to get forward and put some crosses in, especially rosenoir.

i do love the idea of 4-3-3 as i think it would bring the best out in both mclean and stewart but i just cant see it ever happening under nige, unless it was a cup game against a lesser team

    Guzan
    Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson
    Belaid Koren Ashbee Stewart
    Fryatt Mclean
I'm one of the few that thinks Harper has been quietly effective but I'd like to see a creative midfielder in the middle to give us a bit more flow.

    GK - Guzan
    RB - Rosenior
    CB - Chester
    CB - Gerrard
    LB - Dawson
    DM - Ashbee
    RM - Belaid
    CM - Koren
    LM - Devitt
    ST - Fryatt
    ST - MacLean

Stewart to come off the bench for MacLean after around an hour, to put his pace to good effect.
Barmby to replace Devitt after around 5 minutes when we realise it's going to be another one of his 'off days'. ;-) Just kidding.

Is Belaid is winger or a central midfielder? If we knew the answer to that, it'd be a start, and the same goes for Evans.

I'd like to see us go for it and attack the way QPR do, that's why they're at the top. They're nothing special, but they play with confidence, we play with massive respect for the opposition :/

I think he's similar to Koren but for some reason, beknownst only to me, I reckon he'll play well on the wing and allow us to play Koren inside.

Belaid said in his interview that his best position is in the centre, but at national level the manager plays him out wide.
He may be another Koren - wasted out wide.

    I'd go with a sort of 4-2-2-2:

    Guzan
    Rosenior Gerrard Chester Dawson
    Evans Ashbee
    Koren Belaid
    Fryatt Simpson

Stewart to come on after an hour for whoever's performing the worst out of the attacking four. I would normally say McLean ahead of Simpson but with a brace for the reserves the other day and being fired up against his former club, he should slot in nicely.

I'd love to see this team but it's pretty much guaranteed Pearson won't drop Harps or Stewart, but hey, in NP we trust :emoticon-0148-yes:
