Just a general observation, instead of selling the old WHL seats didn't Levy think to offer them to Wembley to make us feel a little more at home?
FT Spurs 2 - 0 Juve Good game but the main concern is Trippier looking crocked with an ankle injury. Our usual heel dragging in the transfer market could cost us points
Quite a decent pre-season run-out. Three CL opponents (who we may draw for real) , a good look at the academy kids against this calibre of opponent. Now to see what signings happen before the transfer window closes ...
Very good runout. Sissoko showed flashes of there being a footballer in there somewhere, which was astonishing. Impressed with Gerogieu's cameo too. And KWP dealt well by and large with some tricky Juve players. Hopefully Trippier's moonboot was only a precaution.
Good performance. Juventus flattered us a bit by being rubbish but it was important for us to win at Wembley before the new season. Really impressed with Kyle Walker 2.0 and I'd go as far as to say that rightback should not be our priority in the transfer market, should we ever decide to dip in. Get an attacking mid and a centre back in, and if we continue playing better in a 4231 then we'll just need a right winger and we're golden.
The story is that when the Americans bought London Bridge to transfer it to Arizona they thought they were getting Tower Bridge. Did City get the right Walker
