They probably don't want to take only Forster and Taylor and want to see if he has progressed after his loan spell. Given that McCarthy is seemingly always injured we need a 2nd choice keeper for the subs bench seeing as even Clasie is more likely to cover for an injured Forster than Taylor!

 

Maya seems to get along with everyone, been following his stories on insta and every one seems to be him having a laugh with a different player. Reminded me a bit of SKD, i certainly think he is becoming more captain like.



New contract please

 

New contract and make him Captain...isn't that a bit risky. Don't want to lose Maya.

 

If McCarthy is injured again, I'd be quite happy with Gazza as backup keeper.

 

And probably only interesting to me, but I'll take the chance, they flew in a Hawker Siddeley HS146. Which is the most comfortable plane, with regular seats, that I've ever flown in. Quiet and comfortable, all for an economy price to the South of France. Way better than a 737.

 

Excuse me for asking but how do you get to that conclusion? He's hardly played 1st team football, looked very shaky when he has & didn't gain with many positives, when on loan. Ok, might be a bit of a snapshot response but over to you ..........

 

Nice little video. Interesting that the players refere to Davis as the captain. I know that he is but there has been no mention of Virgil as a captain whatsoever.

 

If you want a role model as a young lad , theres none better than davis. No world beater, but works his arse off and attitude second to none, top guy.

 

Few of them sit next to each other I note. Nice to spread out I guess.

 

Just seen Forsters gaffe from the weekend... so glad we gave him a payrise and an extension

 

As long as they don't go to him about help with taking corners and advice on how to shoot

 

If preseason friendlies are unimportant other than for fitness, forget about it. A player jumped near him....not a foul but enough to distract him. He should still have held on, but let's not panic yet.

Glad to hear it....so many are after Forster's blood on Saintsweb, I'm getting twitchy. They seem to think he will do that every game. The question they are discussing over there is if Boruc is better than Forster.

 

Interesting one, probably not much in it.

I remember when we signed him saying I thought Boruc was better at that time.

 

Boruc was a mixture....could be brilliant (bit like most GKs to be honest) but was also a complete nutcase. Very disturbing if you are in the back four I'm sure, but I always think goalkeepers should be slightly mad. I think overall, I'd plump for Fraser....be different if he has another poor season, but I don't think he will (and obviously neither do Les and Dave Watson).
