Daniel Bachmann - young goalie from Stoke.

    Sounds like a Gilmartin replacement.

If they like a big physical striker who falls over far too much for somebody of his size and was still seen wearing gloves in May then he is their man.

Mind you did get a couple of goals against them and can probably finish quite well if given the chance or not moaning at the ref.

We really need to get some strikers in if we are considering selling Okaka/Deeney.

Personally would love us to sell Okaka and use that money on Jay Rodriguez at Southampton - he's had a few injury problems but doesn't seem to get a decent run in the team when he is fit. Seems West Brom are going for him though so maybe they are no longer interested in Deeney..

    A few more today;

Juve are pushing the 'keeper Neto to join us over Valencia (we are offering €8m plus €2m add-ons, Valencia €5m plus €2m)

Chalobah may ask Chelsea to leave, so we are being linked (apparently Sky Sources)

Vermaelan also being linked with a move from Barcelona again

Of course... wouldn't mind maybe getting him on loan, and try to prove his fitness first! think he is probably the better player out of him, Robertson and Friend - but a bit too injury prone (and now it seems Liverpool are interested in Robertson again)

Also just seen QPR want to take Hoban on loan. Think it's got to that point we either give him a go in the Prem or let him move on permanently.

Think the transfer floodgates might open a bit more after the end of this month when the contracts expire...

Trying to pull some of these rumours together:

    Neto seems to prefer Spain.
    Chabolah is a decent shout.
Gibbs too or that defender from Boro, Roberson?
Prödl might just be trying to squeeze more $, I hope.
Okaka can´t go unless another striker comes in.
    Markovic could replace Amrabat.
Vermaelen worries me as he is old (in footballer terms) and has been injured a lot. However, he is left-footed and experienced.

I am sure there will be a signing we had no idea about beforehand, as usual. I´d like to see younger signings coming in.

I wonder which players will leave..

Amrabat, as much as he tried isn´t Prem quality for me.
    Behrami sounds like he´s off.
Watson might be given a fresh chance.
    Sinclair and all.
Hoban might just hang around Watford still and go out on loan again.
Is Brice Dja Djédjé still around?

I'm surprised to see that Jakubiak is only 20. I thought that with the number of loans he's been on that he is older.

Joe Hart is targeted by Rafa Benitez as Newcastle join West Ham and Watford in fight for England keeper.

OK I know it is in the Sun.

I'd really like that. We've had some great/entertaining keepers over the years starting from the man with size 11 hands. Pat Jennings in1963/4 for any youngsters here :emoticon-0128-hi:

And I bet he wouldn't cost too much.
