    Seems a strange one - you'd think he'd take any move... a loan, mutual termination... just to get back playing! Unless he's on a decent contract and just happy to sit it out, doing nothing.

    File it under one of the poorer signings... but is an area I think we need to look long term - maybe a younger keeper to learn and eventually take over from Gomes

    Strikes me that there may have been some truth in the rumour. When you look at the way Watford appeared to play for time with the Tim Krul medical 2+2=5 i.e. that they would only sign him if another iron in the fire failed....
    A strange one but you never know.

    Lets hope we get it all sorted before he impresses too much and starts attracting offers from bigger clubs!

    Same with Cleverly - and that his fee is agreed already... don't want that going up. Imagine it is quite low considering Everton wanted to get rid.

    Surfacing as a more and more reliable centre-back, and as a powerhouse for Saint-Etienne, Guinean international Florentin Pogba (26), according to latest rumours coming from French sources, has been targeted by Watford. Possibly following his younger and more famous brother Paul to Premier League, Pogba is currently on a deal with Les Verts until June 2018.

    He was good for us THEN... presumably he has got even better? A half decent squad player.... I would be surprised if as a loanee and with our current squad, and only half a season to go... he could be any thing more
