So there are doubts about another one now. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/watf...tain-watford-future-with-reduced-role-sources
Sky Sports reveals this Monday that the move from André Carrillo to Watford on loan will be very close to being confirmed. According to that publication, the 26-year-old Peruvian forward will need a work visa to strengthen the Hornets, which should not be a problem, as the Benfica player is a regular in the Peruvian national team.
Which he isn't apparently - hasn't played in the required percentage of previous international matches, albeit due to injury.
You are probably correct BB, but I think I read somewhere that if a player was picked, but had to withdraw because of injury, it still counted when it came down to permits.
More talk about Okaka leaving.. https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/eur...aka-pua-partire-dopo-l-arrivo-di-gray-1008840 And Amarbat. http://www.sporx.com/malaga-nordin-amrabati-geri-istiyor-SXHBQ648720SXQ
Love this part of the site's translation - "It was a surprise move for Nordin Amrabat, who had been transferred from Galatasary to Malaga and sold to Watford ... in the middle of the 2015/16 season by the Spanish team. Malaga started seeing Watford for the transfer of the old actor." Rather an apt description at times...
Does anyone know if Adalberto Peñaranda is going for an EU passport? As an Ibero-American (All of South America (and Brazil) he can have a Spanish/EU passport in two years, so the middle of next year from a Watford contract point of view or earlier if he applied on arrival in the Pozzo network with Udinese/Granada in 2015.
Does that two years require continuous residency in Spain? If so, he may have a little trouble as he spent some time in Italy with Udinese.
I hope last night´s performance doesn´t result in panic buys. Mr Silva seems to be pushing that he wants more players in his comments, I hope the board and him already have what they are both looking for int he pipeline.
Getting close isn't it? The Carrillo deal seems to be stuck through work permit problems, if not resolved by early next week I can see a panic buy coming up. Lennon from Everton?
http://www.abola.pt/nacional/Noticias/Ver/688734 This suggests that Carrillo's work permit has been granted & he's on his way over for a medical.
http://sportwitness.co.uk/burnley-watford-birmingham-city-make-e10m-bid-25-year-old-forward/ I don't think this is new, but lost track.
The report suggests that he is in England. Not sure where the picture was taken. I assume he was cleared through immigration. http://ovacion.pe/peruanos-mundo/carrillo-ya-esta-inglaterra-para-jugar-premier-con-watford
