    Unless we are selling Okaka (or Deeney) then don't see the point of this if we play 1 up front - we have 3 players for one position).

    We need to upgrade Amrabat - then I am pretty happy with the squad. A left back would be nice, but think Mason could do ok as cover - and someone like Britos could act as back up too - just won't get forward!

    And the club have denied the rumour.

    Afterall we've only just brought 2 strikers for a combined total of 30 million or so - we won't be spending that on a 29 year old who plays exactly like 2 strikers we already have.

    I read five different reports looking for that & only found one worded that way - the others, including the club website, all said 'cancelled by mutual consent'. I've no idea if they mean the same thing - but wouldn't have thought so.

    One national rag journalist dreams up a move for Islam Slimani, who would duplicate several of our strikers,is older and from what I understand cost a lot to acquire, and all the micro rumour sites pick it up and run with the story. A player we really don't need. Aaarrgh!!!

    Silva talks about having options for all positions. I think he can play in several places up front, so would be surprised if he went.
