Been trying to leave it but you addressed me. I did not mention Airbus however I believe we covered this already re global conglomerates (which Airbus most certainly is) so it will be less affected by Brexit as it is one of a very small number of major suppliers and will continue to sell planes to the whole world. In addition, it has invested massively in the Filton plant over many decades so the cost of upheaval probably isn't worth it. Incidentally, the HQ is in France and not the UK...

These are not the concerns, it is the impact on SME business that will be the true legacy of Brexit and despite the conciliatory noises about acting sensibly coming from the EU, Donald Tusk said only today that "the UK must not be seen to profit from Brexit"

The message is pretty clear then, no free market access for the UK....

I think Terresa should hold another referendum every pre season so we've all got something to talk about over the summer.

I said either you or MTG said something about Airbus. If you didnt then no need to reply as my comment clearly wasnt at yourself then was it?

Airbus was being used (must be from MTG as you said it wasnt you) as a major concern why we shouldnt leave the EU. I just wanted to put 'that' concern to rest. That is all.

Astute move by May to appoint Boris.
He acts the fool and makes light of things but be in no doubt he has grey matter that most can only dream of.

    Expect it from Tories.

Labour are still at it ... Just not very good with the sharp daggers.

What I find distasteful are MPs that stab their own leader in the back after 9 months in the Job fresh from a democratic process they are part of.

There they go the right honourabbles (sic) still interested in themselves, their seats, their salaries. Risible, saying they are representatives of Labour, but then on the whole did not vote against austerity cuts, voted for attacks/war in the Middle East. Next they will be saying they love football, shop in pound shops, go to the bookies / bingo, watch darts. Drink beer/cider not fine wines, and don't do holidays in Tuscany while getting the kids into a good fee paying schools/universities.

There are amongst labour those that yearn for the opportunity to be top dogs and helpfully unconstructive until an opportunity arises when they may do a coup ... "eagle" what? whoosh... arrrrgh

    Clifton, yoom a sensible youngen.

Why are there terrible traffic hold ups at Dover ?
I know the reason given is longer security checks.

Now tell I this, why aren't there huge queues at all other French borders.
Yoom gonna say Schengen but do that make sense ?
Surely there's more risk coming from any French border other than England.

A percentage of British people will just stay away from France if this is the new norm.

Add in the recent random terrorist attacks, and their tourism industry will take a gigantic hit over the next few years.

FRANCE is likely depending on its borders with other European states to be less of a risk as there is other countries like Belgium Germany Luxembourg Italy and Spain to "FILTER" ?
having said that we are the most likely to have the better filtering??

Been watching cricket but caught Sarah Champion who resigned from her front bench role in the cabinet 'unresigns' and gets her old job back.

    Only in politics.
