Slade cost us that game single handidly, we actually played well in an attacking sense, Ulvstead, Holmes and Lookman all create chances and Magennis is a good target man for this level. Under a different manager we would have won this game fairly comfortably. Holmes for Chicksen, need I say anymore? Even Ajose would be better out wide, Slade doesn't seem to understand that an attacking player can help defensively as they ease pressure and get the ball down the other end. Our front three at the end was Novak, Chicksen and Hanlan FFS!
Just wait till you hear his post match comments Junior ..... you'll go ballistic... he's blaming the fans tonight
Ahaha I'm not going to listen to that tonight. He did get a remarkable amount of abuse for such a small away crowd, was louder than I've heard inside the valley for sure, made me proud to be a Charlton fan
Sounds like Uncle Fester snatched a draw from the jaws of a victory. We are absolutely nailed on for a Top 15 finish with this joker in charge.
Just listened to Slade's post match excuses - is it me or is this guy starting to sound like a bit of a prick?
Thin-skinned or what? What will he be like when he gets it in the neck from 2000-3000 fans on Saturday?
He's an insecure manager who is 100% worried about his position now. Disappointed he wasn't asked to explain the substitutions though, he wanted to see the game out 1-0 and it backfired. That is your fault, Russell
