Post Match thread. Good game, in front of a large noisy crowd, who got fully behind the team. Great atmosphere. Former Southampton youngster Bevis Mugabi brought down Gary Roberts to concede a 15th minute penalty, which was well converted by Gareth Evans. Yeovil equalised in the 51st minute with a goal by Francois Zoko(there only shot on target !). Kal Naismith scored our second goal from an excellent cross from left back Enda Stevens in the 68th minute. Substitute Jamal Lowe scored his first ever senior goal with a neat finish in the 78th minute. We had 69% possession (Yeovil 31%) / We had 18 shots on goal with 8 on target (Yeovil had 5 shots, 1 on target) / We had 7 corners (they had 1). .......................................................................................................................................................... Dozens of ex-Pompey players were paraded on the pitch at half time, which was good to see, including our brilliant former striker Alan Biley whose haircut hasn't changed much since he retired back in the late Nineteen Eighties !! He scored 50 goals in 105 matches for Pompey - what a player he was ! please log in to view this image (Then) please log in to view this image (Now)
You could have paraded dozens from the last 3 seasons given the amount you have signed. No Ruebens though he's the one who got away.
You can mock Reuben "Lard Arse" Reid, sensible, but you must admit he has scored a number of goals since Exeter nicked him off of you.......
