Another good win and three more points for Pompey. Lovely free kick from 22 yards out by Kal Naismith, but an equally brilliant free kick from Luke Berry to pull a goal back for Cambridge. In the dying minutes David Forde produced a magnificent save from another Berry free kick, tipping the ball over the bar. New boy Stanley Aborah had a good full debut, with some lovely touches and passes. On this form, he looks good enough for Division One, so hope we keep him. Doncaster lost today so head the table on 85 points. Plymouth drew at Colchester, so have 83 points. Pompey are third on 81 points. Pretty close at the top. With only two matches remaining, we could in theory go up as champions, if the results go our way. With both Doncaster and Argyle dropping points, who knows
Ummmm - We are playing Mansfield away next, sensible. Are you saying that they have signed your all time favourite player Reuben Reid from Exeter ? I thought the transfer window closed in January ! How much of the "falling down water" have you drunk this evening for goodness sake ?!
Bollox it's Doncaster next not you...........Whoops!! My trouble is I haven't had a drink yet so better pop out to the kitchen and get one.
Come on Pompey you can do it.........Nice to see you guys beating the odds. Well be having the local derby in no time!! Mansfield next easy peasy........ Edit No SB3 have we upset him or something?
