Dignatious Hunnery at its finest. A FOOTBALL fan threatened to kill his partner after becoming irate as he watched a Celtic v Rangers match on TV. Rangers fan Greig Thompson was enraged when a young child in his house said she wanted to wear a Celtic top. Thompson, 33, of Cocklaw Street, Kelty, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court following his drunken antics. He admitted that on March 12 at his home he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by repeatedly shouting, swearing, acting in an aggressive manner and threatening to kill his partner. Depute fiscal Alisdair Shaw said: “There was an Old Firm game taking place on that day. The accused being a fan of one of the teams purchased alcohol at 10am in anticipation of the noon kick-off. “He was watching the match at home on TV and when his team, Rangers, equalised he was happy about this.” However, Thompson’s mood quickly changed when a six-year-old child said she wanted to wear a Celtic top. “This angered the accused,” said the depute. “His face was red and his eyes were described as ‘popping out’.” Thompson then started saying he was going to kill his partner. Another child in the house was so frightened she phoned the police. Thompson then said to the youngster: “You’re going to get me the jail. I haven’t even touched her yet.” He gathered some belongings and left. Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “He very much regrets what has taken place. He had taken too much to drink.” Sheriff Charles MacNair imposed a community payback order with two years’ supervision, participation of domestic abuse groupwork programme and 101 hours of unpaid work.
Just heard Andy Walker there, he said "Rangers were very unlucky to not take all 3 points at Parkhead". What game was he watching?

A nobody with no clue. According to him a "resurgent Rangers" would survive in the EPL which goes to show how much he's been following events for the last 5 years.
