Poch becoming increasingly bitter. 'Xavi is my enemy and tried to destroy our focus to win,’ said Pochettino. ‘Maybe he is working for Manchester City, he wants to help Guardiola. http://metro.co.uk/2017/04/26/xavi-...nishing-reason-for-dele-alli-rumours-6598045/ Last season, the world was against their title 'challenge' v Lesta, and caused their collapse. Notw it is Xavi. He goes on to claim Xavi is a cheat, bringing up a dive from a decade ago. No class: leave the old scraps on the field, MoPo. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...laim-that-manchester-city-could-buy-dele-alli Bitter manager perfectly suited to bitter fans, who did not give Lesta enough credit last season... or this season, either, for their CL run.
This is a brave attempt at a wind-up, but a little too obvious this time, CFC - more so than usual, mate. I cannot give this thread more than 2/10, I'm afraid.
Xavi is allegedly denying ever saying such a thing. I guess we better check on who Pochettino allegedly made his Xavi comments to ...
What? You mean, introduce a bit of commonsense into the scenario? Nah. That won't work! Hack journalism can't work like that!
It wouldn't ****ing work on you, would it? Common sense scenarios are hardly your own natural habitat.
That's a little harsh, given what I have said. To summarize: Levy will not sell any of our stars, at any price (that has always been his stance) If the player makes a written request to leave, it will be on Levy's terms The buyer will pay through the nose I am not making this up, Archy. That is how it happens with Levy. Do I think we will keep all of our stars? Yes, I do. Do I think there is a possibility that we won't? Yes, I do. There is always that possibility. Will Spurs suffer if we lose Alli? In the short term, yes, I think we will; just as we did when Bale left. What do I think Levy has to do in order to keep our stars at the club? Two things: (1) significantly increase their wages, and (2) get in a couple of new stars to strengthen our squad. Do I think he will do these two things? Yes, I think he will. If he doesn't, then us fans must expect players like Alli to have their heads turned. Is there anything in this that isn't only commonsense, but also a fan being realistic?
Theres two things Dannyboy has to do to keep his stars as you call them and that is; A) Break the wage structure B) Spend £150 million in the summer to bolster a very thin squad. Will this happen? No way Tyler....say your goodbyes now.
