Player of the season..

    Other than maybe the end of season awards (which I've been to once, at the Grove and would like to go to again - but not in it's current format), I feel relatively connected to the club to a certain level. I still think they try and keep many of the 'core' values - the players still go out into the community, signings at the shop, they have the 'Have Your Say' evenings, things like the statue for GT, naming the stands after GT and SEJ - I think in some respects the owners value the history of the club in that way

    It's the actual team that I feel less connected to. Even in the Championship with a number of foreign guys coming in, you still felt a certain connection with them and most brought into the values of the club. Now many do seem like it is just a job for them (which for many, it is). With the lack of home-grown in the squad doesn't really help, and a manager who seems relatively defensive in the way he talks
