Hope you lot are prepared for an invasion of a few thousand caravans on bank holiday Monday. Probably be an all day piss up with a group of lads before making our way to your dump My itinerary for the day is a closely guarded secret as I don't fancy get jumped by a load of trainspotters Just hope Hercules spotters don't give my location away.
To be honest Super I've no idea, all i know is a friend of mine has and bought my ticket in advance for me. I would have planned to meet up with a couple of your lads but will probably be pissed before we even get into Charlton. Going to keep the club colours at home for this one, saves getting chucked out of bars or trouble from any of your lads on a head hunt If things kick off I'll just shout Millwaaaallll
Always are with your lot, Wall and Swindon. Problem is it is quite a narrow street walk to the station with not much room to disperse. I don't envy fans coming to our place and there is always going to be a few young Gills fruit cases waiting to kick off. Worst I ever had was at Swindon as a lad, when a load of my lot did a runner and I found myself surrounded by a fair few Swine fans. Trouble is I've never run in my life, it baffles the opposition monkeys My lot looking back just thought this guy is nuts, to be honest I just thought **** it let's get this done, amazing how many mouths back off then lol, thankfully for once I was glad the old bill dragged me out before I got a good kicking.
It didn't help that the Kent Police refuse to let our fans turn left outside the away end - two sets of fans then walk straight into each other
They cut off the left and right exits after a Fulham fan died many years back after a confrontation due to those old walkways.
I give the away end a wide berth unless helping visiting fans. There used to be alleyways both sides of the exits, I think it's all been safety improved now or closed during certain periods, not really sure I tend to avoid it due to past risks, death being one of them.
Stand is a joke, ondigital collapse screwed up the completion of the ground back in the day. Now Scally has submitted plans for a new ground, about 30minute walk from the current one, so nothing going to happen after all these years to improve the meccano. Home fans complain about it too. So now we house away fans in the GRS but it's not big enough for your lads, without moving the regulars.
Premiership sounds about right, lots of dog **** on route I reckon the locals take em for walkies when they know we are coming.
First Royston's "Slade Club's Derby", now "Pikey's in town". Apostrophes in the right place please, we don't want this forum to go downmarket.
