Forest. Been several times. Always a great time. Just figured out. Ive never been to Leeds. Wtf. May try and rectify that.
I've probably been a dozen times but it's always eventful ..... in the 70's they'd keep us in for half an hour while the Leeds supporters rained bricks on us. By the time we got out we'd clout anything that came towards us. Leeds once said they were never more scared than when Sunderland arrived.
Would have been Fulham if I was still over. Love a day by the river... It's all a bit the wind in the willows. Will possibly make a home game at Christmas but not too sure yet.
Sheff Utd and forest away at Christmas is class for the fans. Sheff we'd on bank holiday Monday to. Not bad fixtures.
Bristol City away, love a good long journey for a match (not that long for me now that I live down south) and it's a great city to go drinking in!
1st time I went it was a total sh*thole. 2nd time I went it wasnt much better. Still they were eventful days. A good gargle, a little hassle and bloody good laughs.
Forest & County great days out. My 1st ever fine (£70) at an away match. Not proud but a little bit of vandalism was justified imo. 30p for a hamburger, a quid for away fans. I think not. He's little burger wagon somehow fell onto its side. Never thought of the consequences (guy getting burned, scarred with hot fat etc) until the magistrates pointed it out. ffs was there really risk assessments that far back? Still the pubs were fab and the notarianni around town were pretty decent as well.
Forest Because I once applied for the position of Sherriff of Nottingham Just thought having the rejection letter would be a cool memento. Never got it. Love the Robin Hood stuff Oh, never been to a PL game, but this would definitely be the one I pick!
Mid to late yea. Had had a great day until then. Then locked in the police wagon outside until after the game then escorted out of Nottingham only to have to return to court on the Monday. £70 was a canny chunk of beer money in them days.
