What the Allams have done is nowhere near comparable to what has happened at Blackpool. He's completely destroyed that club and dragged it from the PL to League 2. Although the Allams may be pricks, they've just appointed a top European manager and we'll have a budget to give us a chance of returning to the PL
Owen Oyston dragged it up from the 4th division, then dragged it back all the way down again. It's not like he took over when Bpool were in the PL.
Sort of like a full cycle Trading Places – where Mortimer & Randolph elevate Eddie Murphy’s character to richness and decadence– but then actually succeed in reducing him back to a street clochard. Not sure who would be Ackroyd in this, nor JLC.
For all of their manifest faults, the only time they have got it wrong in choosing a manager was when they were faced with having to make a last-minute decision and decided to put their faith in Mike ****ing Phelan. If only Ehab would stop behaving like a tit... the old man was okay with me. Even his 'I hope they die' was harmless. I'd bet just about everyone on here will admit to having an older relative who regularly comes out with stuff that makes your hair curl. Ehab has been a nobend, though.
