Just wondering how you rate Trollope as first team coach. He had a successful time with us, much of it spent working with Lennie Lawrence. He had a good relationship with players, fans and staff. Some however thought he was too defensively minded and possibly too loyal to some players. Personally I'm pleased to see him back in football, though I thought it would be as manager of a L1/2 side. A thoroughly decent man, he deserves to succeed. Anyways, what impact do you think he's having at your club? Congratulations on your season so far.
It's always hard to split managerial influences at a club. I would find it hard to see what impact Paul is having individually. However, you have to say as a team with Hughton he has overseen a stunning start to our season considering the disruption and massive player departures in the summer. If he has a defensive influence it certainly isn't showing. We are playing some of the most attractive football I have seen at St Andrew's for a very long time. So, at the moment I am delighted with the managerial team, and that is about as far as I can ascertain. We will get to know Paul over the long haul and be able to give a better assessment maybe.
