I know where you are going, and I hope not (obviously). Understand why you say it though. Probably many more to come forward.
We're only hearing the ones brave enough to speak publicly. I hope this isn't going to be as huge as the media are saying it could be.
George Ormond was jailed in 2002 for offences that took place over a 24 year period. The timeline would fit, as would the troubled childhood. Hope it's not true for his sake, but it wouldn't surprise me, unfortunately. ****.
Another one of Barry Bennell's victims has come forward: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/25/child-abuse-in-football What a despicable piece of ****.
Yet as soon as anyone suggests the death penalty for cun*ts like this, all the left wing do-gooders start harping off. A rope isn't enough for sh*it like him.
Yet more allegations seem to come out every day. It feels like it did when the Saville and BBC stuff first came to light.
I think this highlights the extreme power that abusers have over their victims. Victims don't seek revenge and retribution when they're "older and fitter" and I've often wondered why
Various reasons. The abusers are often old and frail or powerful and respected. The bullshit that they tell the kids sticks with them too, so they can be afraid or ashamed to come forward. Blaming the children is pretty standard, I believe. They're told that it's their fault, nobody will believe them and other crap. What a twat. please log in to view this image With that combination, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised?
Barry Bennell's been charged with eight sexual offences against boys under the age of 14. The CPS have asked that his trial not be tainted, so that they can secure convictions against him. I'd expect this to go quiet in the media now for a bit, until they lock the ****er up again. There's some suggestion that he tried to top himself yesterday. I'd like to see his victims get some justice first. Crewe have come under some scrutiny for employing Bennell. It appears that it was known that he was dodgy at the time and that they should've known his reputation. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/29/crewe-barry-bennell
Chelsea have launched an investigation into claims of historic sexual abuse at the club: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38152011 EDIT: The subject of the claims is apparently dead, which narrows it down a bit, I guess.
