From my experience of living very close to Stamford Hill they don't socialise at all with other cultures all though they are all orthodox I've heard the unorthodox ones are more friendly but haven't experienced it my self

What gets me is none of them appear to work for a living.. They all have massive houses and are allowed to conduct their weirdness whilst being paid by the church for being Jewish.

The other thing that freaks me out is that they actually genuinely look like the nazi propaganda from the 1930's. I always thought it was that, propaganda. But it's not they all look the same to the most part.

It has nothing to do with religion. You really think Americans are in Afghanistan because of religion? To put that little region in context, 92% of global opium comes from Afghanistan. That percentage accounts for $65m drug trade - this is according to the UN. When the Talibans were in power, they were working on cutting supply of opium by burning the farms. But since Americans moved in, output has tripled. Is that war about religion? Absolutely not!!

Was Iraq invasion in 2003 about religion? Absolutely not!

Was supporting rebels in Libya about religion? Again, absolutely not!!

Think of Isil's attacks around the world, are they limited to just Christians? Absolutely not! They kill indiscriminately without actually thinking. The foot soldiers that their coward leaders have put on the ground sadly think they are carrying out god's will while their leaders rake in the money from the war and enjoy being somebody in forsaken regions.

The fact of the matter is that religion is simply an overly simplistic blame for inherent human flaws - need for Money and Power. Nothing to do with religion in most of the cases. And even Israel and Palestinian foolishness is rooted in what each of them believe is their right than about who they are worshiping.

In close, until the need to keep accumulating more money at the expense of destroying others end, this vicious cycle will forever continue.

According to the times, the France players wanted tomorrow's game against England to be called off.

Paris deliberately chosen not just because of their current stance helping the US but also being the hub of social and cultural activity at the centre of Europe. An attack in Paris would generate much more publicity than an attack in Athens or Madrid or even Berlin.

They also found it much easier to smuggle the weapons because of the schengen network and the lack of borders.

The french are also more lax about radicalisation and membership of extreme groups.

I'd be most surprised if they don't reverse their current (perceived) policy of giving suspected individuals the benefit of the doubt. Many of those involved in the January and this weekend attacks were known to the intelligence services but because there was no certainty they were not followed up even though they suspected a significant risk. The UK and US are more risk averse and would have taken them in.

Anyone else think tonight's 'match' is even more meaningless than it already was in light of the weekends events?

I've been having the odd read of the Paris thread on the PL board, was way too far into its swing when I first saw it to join in and I don't have time to spend all my life on an internet forum arguing so haven't posted.

Just a load of people bickering as each one thinks they know better than the other, then making lame jokes to appease each other, then going back to arguing. Lot's of lovely cut and paste stuff of things they didn't themselves write. All a bag of ****e really. If your opinion differs from certain individuals you're a racist or bigot. Or retarded or a moron, all really good stuff.

All Sisu has shown is that he's clearly ****ing insane and his ban from here is with good reason.

Sisu is bonkers. He effectively implied that people who were there on 911 and saw planes hitting the World Trade Center were misguided as no planes actually hit the Towers. Mad as a bicycle.

I read that too. He is a prize nutter.

I had my say and was roundly ignored <laugh>

Don't think my comment was too balanced to warrant a reply.. That or it was just plain ****e.

He's a tit. It was filmed, live, in both instances. One plane in each tower, clear as day.

I do think the Pentagon plane was bollocks mind. No idea why they would make this up but it definitely didn't happen, it did relatively **** all damage.

Can't say I've obsessed about it enough to look into it though.

No.. I only don't like the mad Jews. Normal ones are fine. Same can be said about all religions though they all have their nutters and I view them all with the contempt they deserve.

The sad reality is compared to the atrocities the USA (and the western world) have committed in recent years 9/11 was a drop in the Ocean. ****ing sad, but the fact is the largest terrorist organisation is the lot we're not worried about!

It's crazy that 9/11 seem to be the beginning of history for most people. Plus the media outlets around the world no longer provide accurate historical context on international affairs. Not that I think the regular Joe in us would be able to comprehend how deep the rabbit hole goes.
