Has agreed a move to Millwall in January, signing a 2 and a half year deal, Fred Onyedinma stays on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal. Not a huge surprise as his contract was up at the end of the season & the club obviously needs the money.

Good luck to him, but bollocks :emoticon-0121-angry

Agreed. Bollocks but good luck, he deserves it.

    How much did we get?

No question he deserves it, just irritating for us!

Not been announced yet, although I'll bet you that they'll give it as undisclosed. Personally I reckon it'll be at least 100k, any less and he would've been more valuable keeping for the rest of the season, firing us to promotion & then leaving on a free rather than letting him go.

What's he like other than a pacey winger as I haven't a clue, obviously he's decent going by your disappointment? <ok>

Very creative, he's been our playmaker for the last 2 years and can make something happen from nothing. Links up well with the front men & darting runs have caused havoc for defences this year, Luton and Shrewsbury simply couldn't deal with him this weekend. Chased back defensively right until the final whistle as well, couldn't fault him so far this season

He is absolutely rapid though, even at Championship level you'll be astonished at how fast he is. Shrewsbury fans on Sunday were saying he's the best player they've seen at this level for 3/4 years, so that gives you a good indication of how highly he's rated, not just by us but by fans of other sides as well (they're bloody relieved that he's gone!).

Works his socks off which is our type of player and is all we need to know, we're crying out for some pace. <ok>

Good luck for the rest of the season mate. <cheers>

Paris has pace and is bizarrely good in the air for his size. Started off life here with a bad rep from his previous club "Plymouth" and showed signs but no real end product in his first season. This year he seems to have totally embraced the hard work ethic installed by Ainsworth and tracks back really well. He attacks with speed and has definitely changed his shooting boots this year. See the goals he scored at Cheltenham and also at Accrington away (im sure you can find them on youtube).
Sad loss for us and as yet, Fred hasnt shown the maturity that you will be getting from PCH
Hope he does well for you guys

Heard a rumour he only went for 85k plus add ons which is ridiculous if true given the way he's played this season. Can't blame him for wanting to join a bigger club who will pay him a lot more than we can afford and football is a short career.

paris has improved massively as a player in his time with us, and a move up in the footballing world was inevitable. from the clubs point of view its good that weve managed to get some money for him and I really hope gaz can reinvest it well in a centre back and a right winger - the two thigns we need

Good luck to PCH, he deserves his chance to play at a higher level and hope he does well.

Do WWFC keep all the fee (whatever that may be!) or does some go to paying back Hayes??

We'll get a bit of money from the Stewart deal as he was out of contract but under 24, so we're entitled to compensation which is good news for the club. Not sure how much it will be, but anything is appreciated, it'll give us a little more money to spend on improving the squad or balancing the books :emoticon-0148-yes:
