... no no no, no no there's no limit! No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no there's no limit! No no limits, we'll reach for the sky! No valley to deep, no mountain too high No no limits, won't give up the fight We do what we want and we do it with pride Bit of 90's dance for a Tuesday afternoon
Haha, Rafa put his faith in Lee. The only thing charmless has actually ever achieved was getting Rafa to sign. Same club I see
Yep, definitely no Townsend then and no one else that would be worth bothering about on the horizon. Didn't expect we would do a huge amount of business this window, but did imagine one or two new faces. All in all it's a tad worrying and a bit disappointing. If it's just a case of not being able to do sensible deals then it's just about okay, but if Rafa is being sanctioned then l fear for our future. Just got to pray the powers that be have not gone into suicide mode again, just when things were looking rosy.
There is absolutely no reason for us to be wasting money in January when we already have a squad that looks like it might be able to scrape promotion by the skin of it's teeth come May. Then all we need to do is add a couple of cheap signings in the summer that will feed our delusion and have us dreaming of 17th place - until we actually start playing. Job done
So frighteningly like what I was thinking. Maybe the "line" wasn't Pardew's fault.....like anyone didn't think Charnley was a useless fecker.
Of course if wasn't Pardew's fault. He would have spent money like Monty Brewster if it was his choice. He was operating under "the blueprint" and the 5 year plan to spend as little as possible and make as much profit as possible. please log in to view this image
