Well ITIT we have been many a time in the Uplands to watch the groups and to eat even and not one person has questioned our Cardiff City tops .....My fellow students wear a selection of top but the most one that ghets admired is the Man Yoooooo top as it seems full of taffy reds there!!!!

 

Eat there do you? Haha that's interesting seeing as the uplands tavern doesn't serve food!

I think as I explained on another thread, Cardiff City represents quite a unique proposition to investors in as much as we represent the capitol city of a small country. The clubs you mentioned, do not. I think VT sees a way of selling Wales as a major part of the rebranding.

Uplands Tav is alive and kicking hilts and doesnt serve food. Interestingly it has a no football policy which is was the nobrain John Hughes was there. Following CCFC means agreeing to a non football policy doent it? Still cannot believe a club is so willing to give up its tradition so easily to an foreign buyer. Might as well change the name as well!

Well this has been a very interesting thread and very suprised at the numbers of jaxs it has affected ,but then again what happens in Cardiff is always news with envious eyes keeping tabs .

Be an interesting first home game (packed as ever) with a mixture of new red shirts and the original Blue all sitting together getting behind the City which is the most important thing .

 

the reason this thread has rumbled on for days on end is 1) because this has become a football issue of money ripping away the soul of clubs, and 2) because the jacks are obsessed with cardiff city.
