Great win for the Lions albeit against 14 men but excellent comeback. Will need to cut out the silly penalties though to win the Series. Kiwis will be hurting big time!
Benn v Collins, anyone? I think the BBoC needs to get a grip! Bang their heads together, as it were.... Ridiculous.
The largest spectator sport in the world is about to start. The route of the 2017 Tour de France is different to last year when being a good climber helped, but this time there are only three mountain top finishes. Individual time trial today in a rather wet Germany.
Alex Hales on a one man mission to win the One day trophy for Notts. As for Le Tour - a fine victory for G.Thomas and Froome had a decent day.
I wondered why the mats covering the other wickets had a crease line on them - haven't seen that on similar mats at other grounds when watching the T20Is or the WWC. Also, why did they have to make the "joke" at regular intervals about the pitch for the Test match looking very green?
I hope that the riders are aware of the political implications of the route which some idiot has chosen - the route is planned to pass by Garzweiler 1 at around 15.00 today. This is the biggest Lignite open caste mining area in Europe (called Europe's biggest hole) and environmental protestors will not let this opportunity pass by, with Europe watching.
Unless the rain eases a bit no one will see anything. I think they start the race each year somewhere that has poor weather, so France looks even more beautiful as they head south.
I didn't see any sign of a protest, but I was tucking into some apple and rhubarb tart at the time that could have distracted me. The Tour has just done a circuit of the Spa motor racing circuit and the gradients are far greater than you can see when a F1 car goes round it.
A lot of you probably didn't see it, but there was one year that Martin Brundle walked round the track for the race that weekend with one of the current drivers as part of the pre-race show - the gradients were definitely noticeable then.
Mark Cavendish pushed into the barriers on the final sprint today, and didn't get up. I think his race could be over.
Joe Root has confirmed that Liam Dawson will play in the Test, meaning that TRJ will only make his debut if Stuart Broad's heel won't be able to stand a full Test match. I wonder if a Jersey teenager can make a big name for himself: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/40505999
Part of a policy to find brilliant specialist fielders for the role. Jonty Rhodes, the South African, was one of the best fielders I've ever seen. Given Jonty is not the commonest name, is Jenner's use of it his own given name or adopted in honour of a player he learned skills from watching?
