Yeah i did remember posting that it was a good thing when they dispanded charltons womens team to save money when we got relegated as rather that went than something that mattered ...hornets nest or what !
My favourite subjects on there were: Ben Hayes, the flatulent Fan's Director Parky Out Steve Waggott and his failure to tuck his shirt in
The Flatulent Fan's Director actually urged the Club's owner at the time to have Your Views taken down. Fact. He didn't like fans being able to express opinions about the Club. There may be an irony in there somewhere. That same now ex Fans Director was recently pictured illegally invading the pitch after Burnley, and damaging the Fan's sofa
Had a good drink with the Your Viewsers when it disbanded. A good crowd. Can't remember who organised it though.
You seem to have forgotten that the wallies got promoted... Oh wait a minute that was only Kim, mighty and TC saying they would be!
Being patronised by a Gills fan Looking forward to when your much bigger brother from London SE7 pays you a visit
Sensible signings too - players with experience, but also some who grew up in the surrounding areas. Curbs wet dream.
In 1979 we beat the Shrews 2-1 in front of 5,323 fans. In 1982 4,575 saw us win 1-0 Slightly more, 4838, a year later saw them beat us 0-1. In the same season 11,211 saw us beat Chelsea 5-2. In 1984 3,786 saw a goal-fest as the Shrews came out on top 2-4. The 1983 0-1 is the one which sticks in my mind for the memorable awfulness of the evening, I don't remember any of the others.
