You have to wonder who the hell coaches our defence if anyone
Square no covering of each other and would be caught nappingng at conference level

  2. A defence made up of one decent CB supported by two substandard FB's and one CB who doesn't want to be there..... Nothing to do with coaching I am afraid.

Motivation was a trait Arry allegedly had in abundance.
Instilling fear of failure/error was a trait Fergie similarly had.

Is Sherwood still managing, or is AVB back?

A little better towards the end. But the high press? How many games do we have to lose before we ditch this?

No Townsend = no width. Why didn't we stick with what worked, for once? Soldado excellent, Eiriksen dangerous, (though not as dangerous as Naughton)--and Eiriksen still always goes for too much from too far away when he passes.

    COYS!

    Inda :

We should not be in these positions in the first place.

The players should be looking at the fixture lists and saying :

Win here and at the Poool, and 4th could be on again. All we have to do is to
perform the BASICS correctly and that is half the job done.

We didn't deserve it but I'll take it. One of those papering over the cracks victories.

The fools' hope lives for another week. :)
Would common sense suggest that perhaps Siggy STARTS the next game ??

We didn't deserve to win, as we were a mess with no cohesion, no creativity in the centre .
A Pyrrhic victory as it means a Europa place beckons .

We made some mistakes, fixed some mistake and won the game. And it was an entertaining, emotional game. What more can you ask for?

We've just come back from 0-2 to win, it's clearly important to be negative.

  18. Geez that's a relief - for a while there I thought you were being serious. Now I know you are just being sarcastic.

I appreciate the chiding for being a nattering nabob of negativism, Inda.

I'd pay to watch Spurs and Saints play over and over. Saints play the right way, positively, almost no fouling, no whining.

We're very lucky to take all the points, but were much better early in the second half. Look what Eiriksen does when teams don't foul him out of the game. Lennon and Kaboul very good, both FBs awful. Soldado MoM, Chadli and Townsend decent. Gylfi's shot came through when we needed it.
