You are very selective with your satire and humour. This is a poor effort - tabloid fodder.

Come on then - I think Yorkie is putting down a challenge for us all to find some good ones - show us ones that appeal to you.

Even my grandchildren don't get my jokes, my wife has suffered them for nearly 50 years, poor soul.

"A woman who always keeps her promises has called an election she promised not to, in order to obtain a mandate she already has, for a policy she said was a bad idea".

or - a politician has changed her mind in order to strengthen her hand when three opposition parties and the unelected second house promised to do everything they could to obstruct what she wanted. No politician has ever done something they thought was a good idea before.
Right or wrong anybody else would have done the same.

Which, as it happens, is their job - or should be, as the voting numbers show that they didn't do it. And surely the promise made by the unelected second house should have made her stop and think - a large percentage of that house was simply put there by her party (cash for gongs?), and they obviously thought she was in the wrong.

The Tory peers are in a minority, the ones threatening to cause problems are the vastly over represented Lib Dem peers. A handsome Tory election victory will remind the unelected peers of the preferences of the electorate. Most of the UK want the government to get a move on with Brexit.

A picture tells a thousand words.

Prime Minister addresses her party faithful...
    or
"Sod off Theresa, now is not the time. It's our lunch break."

A list of MPs all with two things in common. No prizes for guessing what those two things are.

No wonder there was an Election called...
