You've helped me get on board with accepting our situation because you've been saying it for ages and it always sounded like the truth even it was painful to hear.

What £10m rated players have I mentioned like?

I've actually said I think we could flesh the squad out with a load of frees to mix with the retained and U23's

    Ruddy
    Bassong
    Manga
    Whittingham
    F.Campbell
    Naismith

Think the only players for fees I've mentioned were Marc Roberts and Aiden Flint for a round £5m. Jota and Mcgeady who'd cost a couple of million.

One of the first strikers you put forward was Ulloa. He's a 8-10m player.

Whatever the budget is I think a large chunk of it had to go on a striker who can lead the line. Our budget will depend on where Pickford is playing next season imo.

We've got a debt deadline and over 15 players to come in, we've had a manager walk out and one turn us down because of money and we're umming and arghing over £1m compo for our top managerial target. The budget is going to be ****. It's was subtle a while back but now it's point blank in our faces. Bet we don't spend over 15m on the 15 players and I bet our main striker next season will be a loan signing. I bet we finish no higher than 10th. There's going to be no investment for a promotion push this season. It would need a manager to surpass expectations and work a miricale imo.

Nearly all of Player sales will go on debt, because that's how Short will make the club salable again. He want's out. it's the fasted way to get rid of us.

Sadly it's what you've been saying for ages. I thought you were perhaps being a touch negative but you're truly vindicated now.

Me and Joe had an iffy feeling about Short when he was about to take over. I wrote my suspicions in a lengthy investigative thread on bbc606 in to his business dealings expressing concerns on how his line of business was stripping assets and how he had limited experience in building up companies through investment. Always a cutter, never an invester. I was absolutely slated. Wonder if @Joe.. can remember the thread. I was either Paulo Da silva back ape or Bri Polar Optimist. Been vary wary of the man from the off so we've been looking through more skeptical eyes than most probably. We were judging his performance from the off.

Yeah I was shot to bits. People just thought 'bilionare owner, cracking' and couldn't see the potential problems. Gutted we've been so right about the man.

I think that was the problem, $$$$$ was all they could see but at what price? The guy was a novice in the football world and it is still my belief he probably bloody hates watching it too. He moved to improve his vast wealth through the Irish charm and bullshit from our iconic ex-owner, got greedier and wanted it all and has systematically ****ed it up from day one. What he has got from this imo is a blemish to his acumen as a top businessman, what the fans and club have got from his tenure is a false promise of a man that vastly overrates himself, who has basically ****ed our club up 100%. With him I hope Karma..

I won't be drawn away from a figure of speech to actual money this early fella. Have done charity bets on this site and I'm good for it. But not ready to put money on anything just yet. A take over could change everything for example.

Ok mate I just thought it would give us a bit of a laugh for the season coming as its going to be **** and you need something to keep your pecker up but don't think I am going higher than a tenner just because we get Pep in and you feel safer. <laugh>

Oh I'll be up for it, just not a fan of betting blind. Need some kind of picture. Everton fan did me a couple of seasons ago on a Bentake vs Lukaku league goals. I went Bentake and lost. <laugh>
