    Benin international Stephane Sessegnon has signed for Sunderland after they agreed a deal with PSG for his services.

    The 26-year-old has signed a three and a half year deal with the Black Cats after they agreed a deal with Paris St Germain, thought to be worth in the region of £4m, according to africansoccer .com.

    Sessegnon has been looking for a way out of troubled PSG for a while and he now looks to have go his wish to play in England and he joins Sunderland's chase for a European place.

    Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari is currently undergoing medical with Sunderland before sealing signing a loan deal with the English side.


    Stephane Sessègnon has now been confirmed as a Sunderland player Afrikansoccer.com can exclusively reveal.

    The Benin international has signed a three-and-a-half year deal worth €6m on Thursday afternoon.

    The 26-year-old thus becomes the first January signing for the Black Cats this season, moving from French club PSG.
