Rosberg becomes the driver with most wins without a championship, 6 in a row from last year and 3 in 3 this season. Hamilton struggles whilst Ferraris implode. Ricciardo driving too fast for his tyres, and a torpedo picks up some big points. Wehrlein puts in a solid performance as Haas tumble down the order. Looks like nobody wants it this year then. Sounds like Ferrari are potentially bringing an upgrade to Russia to unlock some more power/improve reliability. http://planetf1.com/news/ferrari-considering-russian-engine-upgrade/
How things change.. hoping RedBull can pull out a wee surprise, they've got the car, just a bit more power and they'll be in the mix! Ferrari will be there but I have a feeling they'll trip over themselves! Don't care who out of Rosberg/Hamilton wins, just want them both to have a clean Quali and first corner, then it could be game on, with the other cars not to far back... Will go for Hamilton, law of averages and the like..
I think this track is a whole new challenge for this season so it's quite unpredictable. I think there is a string case that whoever on first two rows gets vest start should win. However we could see safety cars here so.... it will be interesting.
Stupid question. How come the lap record is 1.40 yet last year's pole was 1.37. Do qualifying laps not count?
Some pretty damning quotes here about Honda from Boullier. Particularly he claims they actually lost horsepower over the winter. http://en.f1i.com/news/52319-boullier-still-long-way-go.html
it's not ****ty luck if you cock up your starts, it's poor clutch control, maybe he misses the engineers talking him through it
Considering how many years he's been racing and him being 3 times world champion and the fact that he speend two hours every couple of week driving a car at 200 mph within thousands of a second lap after lap, the chances of him or for that matter any driver on that grid having "****ty Clutch" control is pretty far fetched. just saying...
