[Official] Not 606 (Fantasy) Super League

Alright, its time to introduce the Fantasy "Not 606 Super League"!

Following a few boards creating private fantasy leagues to compete against other fellow supporters, I decided to create a league which would be available for ALL users of Not 606 even if your board hasn't got its own private fantasy league.

There are two leagues to join, here are descriptions of them both -

Classic league
In a classic league your overall score is ranked against all other players in the league.

Head to head league
In a head to head league you play a game each gameweek against another team in the league. Your score versus your opponent's score. 3 points for a win and 1 points for a draw.

We will be running both types of leagues and you will be required to enter them both

How to join -

Step 1) Click this link and sign up.
Use your Not 606 forum name to sign up.

Step 2) Set up your "fantasy" team.
Remember: You will be able to make changes throughout the season

Step 3) Click "Leagues" in the "Fantasy menu" on the left hand pane, then click "Create/Join", copy and paste the two codes into the box and click "Join private league"

League name - Code
Not 606 Super League (Classic) - 2630-1793
Not 606 Super League (Head-to-Head) - 2630-1802

You must join both leagues.

Once the season has kicked off you should check and update your squad weekly.

FAQ

My board is currently running a private league, can I join the "Super Leagues" too?
Yes, you can join the Super Leagues even if you are currently taking part in your own board's private league.

My board aren't currently running a private league, can I create one?
Yes, every board is encouraged to run its own private league if there are sufficient members to keep it active.

It doesn't let me sign up, why?
Most likely the season hasn't kicked off yet so the game isn't ready to launch. Be patient and check this thread regularly for updates on when you can sign up.

Why doesn't the squad selector allow me to pick a whole real-life team (e.g. Arsenal)?
The fantasy league is meant to be based on building a team from the best players in the league, there is a restriction on the number of players you can have from any one team, so choose wisely.

The season has kicked off, can I still join?
Yes, you can. Its always worth giving it a go especially if the season has only just begun. It is possible to catch up with everyone else but you have to choose your squad wisely.

I want to create my own league, am I allowed to?
There are no restrictions on the number of leagues you enter, therefore you can create/join as many leagues as you wish.

I want to advertise my own private league in this thread, can I?
No private leagues are allowed to be advertised in this thread.

I already have a Fantasy Premier League account, but my username isn't the same as my Not 606 username, what shall I do?
Your username isn't a problem, its your actual "name". Once you've logged in click "My account" and change the "First name" and "Surname" to your Not 606 username.

I've played the EPL one before so my username on there is different to the one I use on not606, am I still able to sign up? I' sure I'm not the only one who'll have this problem

The username isn't the problem, once you've logged in, click 'Create account' and change the actual "First name", "Last name" to your Not 606 username.

Example:

First name: Freddie
Surname: Krugger

Changed to:

First name: Lil
Surname: Jatt

 

Same, not really too keen on setting up a new email just for this?

Made my team earlier today. Time to join these Leagues.

 

Excellent, I'll do it once I've made my team but will be leaving that til nearer the start of the season

 

You can create your team now and make unlimited changes until the start of the season

 

Lil Jatt, I've created a Utd league so hopefully Utd fans can compete without clashing too many times with opposition fans. We know what can happen with some wingnuts from our side clash with the same from your side

 

Just a side note, is this thread appearing on the Manchester United forum? If it isn't I think we can't sticky it on any single board.

 

To be honest I don't think it is appearing on the Utd board.

Lots of people have joined now, good stuff.

The only problem is that Head-to-Head league is first-come-first-served, a limit of 20 teams. I didn't want this, if any moderators or members want to join the head-to-head but can't, if you contact me via Visitor Message I will decide whether or not I'll let you in

I'll just remove some WUM's off the league to make room

Edit - Just realised I can edit the amount of teams, its unlimited, not limited to 20
