Well lads, one of the best things to come from all the 'Top 5' threads was the sharing bands/songs etc. whether it was new bands or absolute classic tunes...

If Leazes could see it in his heart to make this sticky, and you lot could all get into the spirit of it all, we could turn this into our very own not606 musical exchange centre!

Any new bands, any of your mates bands, even just a random tune you found on your itunes that you hadn't heard in ages, band it on here for everyone to enjoy (or not as the case may be).

I'll kick things off with a few random ones here:

Reef - I've got something to say. Underrated, and generally unknown in comparison to Place Your Hands.

Frightened Rabbit - The Twist. Really like this song to go running with.

General Fiasco - We Are The Foolish. This band is from Northern Ireland and are mates with my flatmates. Saw them at Leeds and they were unreal live. Bit poppy, but that's not necessarily always a bad thing.

DropKick Murphys - Shipping Up The Boston. One of the coolest songs from the coolest scene in one of the coolest films in the past 10 years. The Departed!

Creedance Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son. Plain and simple quality song from a quality band!

Was this the lad you mentioned on the other thread?

His delivery is class like, reminds me a little bit of Common, not vocally just same sorta style.

No proper videos I'm afraid but its worth checking out Rammellzee on youtube.

Squarepusher - Come On My Selector (great video) or My Red Hot Car (great song)

And something different - and sombre - God Speed! You Black Emperor - The Dead Flag Blues.

Apologies for being useless and not embedding youtube videos.

For something to relax to, I quite like Stan Getz & Charlie Byrd playing Desifinado.

Not everybody's cup of tea but it appeals to me.

Just got into them again, very underrated band and really catchy tunes!

Loving this song at the moment, she wrote it about Michael Jackson when he died - a fitting tribute.

And the man himself, with a twist! A few of the metalheads on here might appreciate this :D

It was before my time but it's such an epic song and this is definitely the best version with the saxophone solo in the middle.... amazing :)
